Daniel Greer- Creating a more Welcoming Environment

Daniel Greer played a very instrumental part in the relocation of the “Kosher Kitchen” Yavs. This was one for the Young House Israel at Yale where it was moved to a location on-campus from Westville. This small Kitchen was even there when Greer was a law student in Yale during the summer of 1961 September. To create a welcoming and friendly environment Greer made efforts in moving the Kitchen to 24 Avenue Dixwell from Young Synagogue of Israel.
