Daniel Greer and his and his stand on the Kosher food canteen on Yale’s Campus

In the year 1961, Rabbi Daniel Greer entered Law school of Yale, following the education at the Princeton University, in 1950s. This was the beginning of life’s fruitful period. It was then that the kosher kitchen of Yale was situated at young Israeli synagogue. It served weekday dinners almost four times a week to almost eight of the attending students. The kitchen was under Aaron Gelman, another Rabbi’s direction however headed by another American Herby Gold. The kitchen was located inconveniently but students that studies in the university were expected to pay the entire board fees. This was irrespective of the fact that whether they ate or not in the campus’s kosher facilities.
