The rabbi has always been an ardent advocate for the Connecticut area’s New Haven for more than a decade. As New haven’s Yeshiva, Daniel Greer felt compelling desires for helping his community in the best ways he could. One of the best ways that he could help his community was by working towards revitalizing the neighborhood of Edgewood Park. This area was crime-crippled. He did the renovation work stage by stage.
The establishment of a school
Daniel Greer established New Haven’s Gan School where as per the staffers working there the daily shabbos services helped the young couples and students attracted to the neighborhood. For recognizing the community’s work Greer delivered an invocation at the New Haven’s invocation ceremony. He was specifically selected to deliver the speech because of his great work in the community services for Jewish Community. His work in establishing a school and committing to revitalization effort in the crime-wracked area set examples for everyone in the community.
Because of the proclaimed commitment towards education, the work of Greer in finding Gan School exemplifies the commitment he has in every work he does.
